I am pretty satisfied with my conference, but there is still one thing I need to work on. That is to not stop at the minimum, do your best work you can possibly do. For example when Mr. Thompson showed my Zoo essay, the evidences were all written without detail, it was not bad, but I still can make it better. What Mr. Thompson said was also connecting to what my other teacher said, he also said that I could do better with my work. So I guess adults all say the same thing about me, do your best work you can possibly do. Mr. Thompson is going to help me achieve my goal of doing my best work by returning my work whenever I say I’m done so I can revise and make it the best work. Another goal for me is that I don’t keep my cubby organized lately, Mr. Thompson said that I should clean it up because I am supposed to be a really organized person, but my cubby doesn’t support that idea. My strategy to conquer messy cubbies is to clean it once a month or whenever it starts to get really messy and I can’t find my stuff, another way is to use folders to organize lose papers into categories, for example there could be a folder for writing, another one for reading, and another one for Mr. Whalen, then I won’t have to come in once a month because I will keep my cubby organized all the time.
